The Blue Tone's Reunion Shows reason for being is to preserve the name and music of one of Atlantic's Country Rock - A - Billy Bands. During the time of the Blue Tone's, a time of songs by Credance Clearwater Revival, Weylon Jennings, Don Williams, Dave Dudley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and many more. These days saw the 4-H building at the Cass County Fair Grounds come alive almost every Saturday night with firemen dances, wedding dances, or some special occasion. Other groups at the time were County Line, Willow Creek, Bob Creager and the Westtones, Vance Monday, and the great Bix Brothers.
The Blue Tone's Reunion Show had its 2nd Annuall show on November 1st of 2008 at the Atlantic Community Center, the site of the old 4-H building that was taken down to make room for the new Community Center. This year we had our 5th show and each year it gets better and better.
We hope to keep country music and old rock & roll alive and well in Atlantic and Cass Co.. We would like to grow and expand in to more things. Listed below are some of the sponsors and people who have helped bring this show to everyone.
